St. Lucia... Maybe?

Today, we have celebrated the day of Lucia! ... Well, actually, it's not too much for us in Norway to celebrate, because the murder of ST. Lucia occured in Italy, and I don't even know if you readers have heard about her in the countries you come from (,but I think you have)!
On our school, we have recently had some huge tests in the subjects: Mathematics, English, Norwegian, and something we'll just call super-ultra-mega-hyper-unbelieveable-unreadable-Norwegian. "Nynorsk", as we call it. (Can be directly translated to "New Norwegian".)
Well, my point is that I was really disappointed by the results of Norwegian "tentamen" , as we call tests like these, and which we have twice a year. In Norway we don't have the grades A-F, but the more... numerous system of 1-6, where six is the best and one is... you know...  Well, what I can say is that my average grade from the "tentamens" went from 5,66 to 5,25 when I got my Norwegian back. I will now go to eat, if you may excuse me...

  1. I think Ivar Aason was drunk when he decided to create New Norwegian, and now we have to suffer because of his drinking problems!!!
